Routine well visits are an important part of your child’s health care to make sure they are healthy and growing in all the right ways.

Well Visits & Vaccination Schedule

The well visit schedule below is recommended for all children ages newborn through 18 years old:

  • 2 months
  • 4 Months
  • 6 Months
  • 9 Months
  • 1 Year
  • 15 Months
  • 18 Months
  • 2 Years
  • Annually until the age of 18

CareSouth will let you know when it’s time for your child’s next vaccination, but it’s important to stay informed. View the vaccination schedule recommended by the CDC.

What to Expect at your child’s well Visit

Well visits at CareSouth for children ages 0 to 3 years old include:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Head Circumference
  • Growth and Developmental Screenings
  • Anticipatory Guidance & Milestone Developments
  • Immunization Updates

Well visits at CareSouth for children ages 3 to 18 years old include:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Growth and Developmental Screenings
  • Anticipatory Guidance & Milestone Developments
  • Immunization Updates

Adolescent Care

Adolescent Care

CareSouth also offers an exceptional level of primary and specialized care services for teenagers and young adults, including:

  • Puberty
  • Menstruation
  • Breast Exams (including monthly self-exam education)
  • Testicular Exams (including monthly self-exam education)
  • Abstinence Education
  • STD Education
  • HPV / Gardasil
  • Two doses administered four months apart are recommended for children 11 years old and up.
