CareSouth is a private non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides a comprehensive range of community-based medical, dental and behavioral health services. Our health center is guided by a consumer-majority volunteer board of directors. CareSouth's mission is to provide comprehensive, affordable, high quality health care with compassion and respect for all. CareSouth is recognized as a medical home by the Joint Commission and National Committee for Quality Assurance and uses evidenced-based and clinical guidelines that support the provision of safe, quality care and services.

This health center receives Health and Human Services (HHS) funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims for itself or its covered individuals.
